Today was the second day in Hvidovre, where the Danish Youth Championships are taking place this weekend. And today Bjørk had to live up to her role as favourite in her favourite event, the 3000 metres. There was no slip-up here. Even though Bjørk did not run her best time, she finished 43 seconds, or about 200 metres, ahead of No. 2. So Bjørk is now Danish champion over 3000 metres both indoors and outdoors!

Jan Elmar Sørensen rounded off the Faroese participation when he took on the 5000 metres. He finished in 10th place with a personal best, which now stands at 17:24.31 min.

All in all, a very successful competition, in which we won 3 gold medals, 1 silver and one bronze. On top of that, Rebekka set a Faroese record in the 300 m, and 5 personal bests were broken.
