Summer is drawing to a close, and FÍF’s last competition is just around the corner. On Wednesday evening 25 August, 18:00–19:45, round 5, the final round of GP B&U, will be held at Tórsbreyt, with Bragdið as host.
The events will be as follows:
- Boys and girls 8-9 years: 600 m, ball throw and long jump
- Boys and girls 10-11 years: 600 m, ball throw and long jump
- Boys and girls 12-13 years: 1000 m and long jump
- Boys and girls 14-15 years: 100 m hurdles and 1500 m
- Boys and girls 16-17 years: 100/110 m hurdles and 1500 m
- Boys and girls 18-19 years: 100/110 m hurdles and 1500 m
As mentioned, this is the last and deciding round, so there will also be lots of medals to hand out! Of the 48 competitions in total, 20 have already been decided, so the presentations will start straight away, while the events are under way.
The competition is open to all children and young people, but, as before, only club members can earn points and count in the Grand Prix standings. Participants are reminded to compete in kit in their club’s colours!
The deadline for entries is Sunday at midnight. No entries will be accepted after that. The timetable and start lists will be posted here on the site on Monday or Tuesday evening.
Register under “tilmelding” (registration) on the front page.
