Frælsur Ítróttur Føroya (FÍF), the Faroese athletics federation, wishes everyone a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Thank you for the past year, which has been a very eventful one. All year round, dedicated enthusiasts in athletics have carried our sport forward and developed it. We thank you all wholeheartedly. A special greeting goes to the skilled coaches out in the clubs. Day in, day out, you do a huge amount of work, which is the very foundation of our sport.
A new and exciting year with many challenges lies ahead. It will be especially exciting to send a strong young team to the Island Games in Bermuda this summer. We wish you all the best of luck with these preparations.
