The competition season is now over, and many athletes are probably taking a few weeks off from training and/or competing. As in previous years, FÍF, together with all the clubs, plans to organise a Winter Running Series again this winter. FÍF is pleased that all six clubs are now up and running and organising training sessions.
The schedule for the Winter Series has been set. The Winter Series has been extended from seven to eight rounds this winter. Three rounds will be held this year and the other five after the new year. As usual, the series starts with the Runt Agnið race, which this year will be on 9 November.
The rules for the Winter Series, which are similar to previous years’ rules, will be posted on the website in the coming days.
All registration for the Winter Series takes place here on the FÍF website.
The schedule for the Winter Series and other events that have been scheduled can be found below. Clubs that would like an event added to the schedule are welcome to contact FÍF.
