In connection with the birthday greeting to Ólavur Olsen in the Christmas calendar on Saturday, he sent me an interesting photo. The photo was taken at the Copenhagen Marathon in 2005, when Bragdið, together with runners, organised the trip. Most of them are or have been regulars on the running scene, and some have also later put in major efforts for the Tórshavn Marathon.
Standing from left: Jón Johansen, Henry Olsen, Hans Petur Weihe, Ólavur E. Herup Olsen, Bent Tommy Linklett and Cecil Weihe. Crouching from left: Óla Jákup Kristoffersen, Jákup Jacobsen, Andras Joensen and Hákun Djurhuus.
The results for these Faroese runners were:
Cecil Weihe 2:43:05
Hans Petur Weihe 3:19:39
Andrass Joensen 3:19:49
Henry Olsen 3:22:20
Jákup Jacobsen 3:25:05
Hákun Djurhuus 3:34:46
Óla Jákup Kristoffersen 3:35:29
Ólavur Olsen 3:43:36
Bent Tommy Linklett 3:55:02
Jón Johansen 3:58:09
(These results were added to the article in 2018)
