We are once again organising the coaching course for those who coach children aged 10–12. The course builds on the 7–10 coaching course, but is open to all coaches of children who are approaching or entering puberty.
So that people from the north don’t always have to make the long journey south to Tórshavn, one of the course days will be held in Klaksvík. This is the day when VK 6 takes place up north in Sund, and things will be arranged so that people can both race and attend the coaching course.
The course will cover all athletics events, with particular attention to how they can be taught to this specific age group.
The course will be held on the following Saturdays:
08 February in Tórshavn
15 February in Klaksvík
22 February in Tórshavn
Register on FÍF’s registration page. The course is free.
Randi Kúrberg and Heri Ziska will lead the course. They hold instructor qualifications from Sweden and also have a great deal of practical experience themselves.
The last coaching course was well attended, with participants from several clubs
