This coming weekend the middle- and long-distance runners in the talent group are going on a training camp in Klaksvík, where they will stay at the Scout House. There are just under four months to go until the big challenge at VU-Spelen this summer, and the preparations are now starting in earnest. Many other exciting competitions also lie ahead, both in the Faroe Islands and abroad. Sprinters, throwers and jumpers will not be taking part this time, but work is under way to prepare a new training camp very soon, where everyone will be brought together.
Because only middle- and long-distance runners are taking part this time, other runners have also been invited. These are runners who have shown great dedication this winter and who also have good results to show for it. Training will take place on Friday evening, Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
Participants must let us know in the talent group’s Facebook group whether they are coming, and also if they are not coming. Those invited are:
From Treysti: Gunnar Sivertsen, Einar Gregersen, Marnar Djurhuus, Rebekka Fuglø, Oddvør Josephsen, Maria Biskopstø, Elin Kristina Ryan.
From Bragdið: Rúni Seloy, Regin Joensen, Teitur Bjarnastein, Steingrímur Hallsson, Niklas Kruse, Steintór Egholm, Katarina Høj, Sára Debesardóttir, Karin Holm Simonsen, Margit W. Fríðmundsdóttir, Elisabet Holm Simonsen
From Roysnið: Rúni Skarðhamar
From Hvirlan: Jákup Dahl Ljósheim

More information is available in the Facebook group.
So once again we’ll try to get the talent group marching in step
