Once again this year Treysti is organising the Eik Half Marathon in Klaksvík. It will also be the Faroese Championships in the half marathon. It will be a so-called city ½-marathon, as it will be run only in town, on a 7 km loop course.
The start and finish will be outside Eik. The half marathon is run three times out to Bumshamar and north to Kósin to turn.
See the YouTube film of the route at the bottom of this article!
The fun run is one lap of this route. The children’s race is one lap around “Lítla Eið”, which is just under 700m.
