Rebekka sets Faroese record in the 1,500 m

The second day at VU-Spelen was just as fantastic as the first. 10 age-group records were set, and almost every single race produced a personal best. And once again we got a Faroese record. It came in the women’s 1,500 m, where Rebekka ran a superb race and took one and a half seconds off Bjørk Herup Olsen’s record from 2012. The new Faroese record now stands at 4:35.92 min.

A lot could be written about a great Saturday, but we are already on our way to the track, where another exciting day of competition lies ahead. And might another Faroese record fall today too?
