On Saturday 17 January at 11:00, round four of the TF Winter Series (VK4) gets under way in Sørvágur. Frælsi will host the race. This year’s course is 12 km. The start is by the church in Sørvágur, and the route runs almost to the mouth of the Gásadalur tunnel to turn, then back the same way. Both on the way out and on the way back, the route passes above the village of Bøur. Girls and boys start at the same time but turn at 1.5 km, so their course is 3 km. The categories are:
- Girls and boys (b. 1999 – 2003)
- Women’s and men’s juniors (b. 1994 -1998)
- Open category, women and men (b. – 1998)
- Veterans, women and men (b. 1960 – 1969)
- Super veterans, women and men (b. – 1959)

The event is based at the school in Sørvágur, where bib numbers will be handed out from 10:00. At the school it is also possible to change and to have a shower afterwards.
Sørvágur Municipality is sponsoring the race. This is the first event connected with Sørvágur Municipality celebrating 100 years as a municipality this year. The municipality is providing soup, fruit and medals. After the race there will be a medal ceremony, where Mayor Sune Jacobsen will present the medals, and Frælsi will offer soup as well as coffee, tea and a bite to eat.
It is best if you register here on the website. Registration closes at 22:00 on Friday evening. It will, however, also be possible to register on the day. The fee is DKK 50 as usual. Girls and boys pay DKK 20.
See you in Sørvágur!
