It was very exciting in the youngest group last year. This photo is from round 1 on 27 May.
The competition will be run in the same format as last year, with a few small changes. Once again this year there will be 5 rounds, with each group competing in either two or three events each time, so that by the end everyone will have competed in three sprint events, three middle-distance events, three jumping events and three throwing events. An overall winner will be found in all 12 age groups in each of the 4 main event categories.
This is an open competition in which anyone who wants to can take part. However, to score points and be included in the overall competition, you must represent one of the clubs. The competition is free of charge.
