Recently, most of the Faroese Championships and the Faroese Youth Championships in athletics were held in Klaksvík. However, the longer throws were missing, as they need a different surface and cannot be held on artificial grass.
This coming Saturday, 8 August, the Faroese Championships and Faroese Youth Championships titles in the longer throws will be contested at Tórsbreyt.
The events are discus, hammer, javelin and ball throw.
Registration is open on Roster, and entries can be made until 21:00 on Thursday evening.
The programme for Saturday’s competition will be finalised once the deadline has passed, but the competition is expected to start at 11:00 on Saturday 8 August.
